Thursday, August 27, 2009 I Heart The Art Stall Gallery

While summer fun has kept me from updating the blog and adding webshop pieces, I've thoroughly enjoyed preparing artwork for and spending time at The Art Stall Gallery in Seattle's Pike Place Market. It's such a dynamic and energizing place to be. The cruise ship crowds are constant, and add even more friendly exchanges to the usual stream of visitors. On one of my days working at the gallery I painted several small poppies, and by the end of that day they were all on their way home to cities around the world with a handful of new acquaintances. My larger pieces flew to new homes from New York to California and Illinois to Louisiana. I speak for all 14 of us that show our work at the gallery when I say "Thank You!"
